A.#Contractor#S Scope Of Work: The Scope Of Work Includes External Surface Preparation, Wrapping & Coating And Painting Of Existing Ng System Pipe Linesincluding Valves. 1.# The Contractor Shall Provide Adequate Number Of Technical Qualified Staff And Supervisors On Site Having Minimum Of Three Years Prior Experience On Piping Job To Ensure Proper And Timely Completion Of Work. 2.# The Contractor S Hall Also Nominate One Responsible Person As Project Engineer Who Shall Liaison With The Owner On All Matters Pertaining T O The Contract And Who Will Be Available At Site All Throughout The Working Hours. 3.# The Contractor Should Submit The Bio-Dat A The Engineer, Technical Supervisors, Quality Inspectors & Safety Supervisor. 4.# Existing Cement Concrete Pit Demolition Including Debris & Scrap Removal & Shifting To Designated Area. 5.# Excavation Below The Existing Pipe To Provide Access For Welding. 6.# External Surfacepreparation On Pipe, Elbows, Pipe Tees, Flanges & Valves. 7.# Surface Preparation As Per Standar D Sa2.5 To Be Done With A Temporary Enclosure Erected By The Contractor After Barricading The Area. 8.# Material Safety & Data Sheet Msds And Material Application Details To Be Provided Before Mobilization The Job. 9. Backfilling The Pit Wi Th Loose Soil, Levelling The Ground Surface And Compaction By Soil Compactor Or Manual As Per Requirement Of Soil At N G-I Area. 10.# The Waste/Residues After Such Work Should Be Cleared On Daily Basis. 11.# Any Hot Work Should Have Prior Written Permit From Dewa. The Contractor#S Supervisor Should Have Risk Assessment & Method Statement At Site And Should Provide Tool Box Talks On Daily Basis. 12.# The Contractor Shall Visit The Site For Full Familiarization With The Work Scope, Plant Access, Facilities, Complexities, Safety Measures Etc., Before Submitting His Bid. The Mentioned Scope Here Is Indicative Only. 13. Only Approved And Tested Materials Shall Be Used. 14. All Dewa Safety & Environment Policy, Rules And Regulation Shall Be Followed At Work Site During The Execution Of The Work. The Contractor Should Be Familiar With Safety Reg Ulations While Working In A Hazardous Area. 15.# Entry Permits For The Workers Should Be Applied 05Days Prior Contractor To Start The Job With Passport Copies Having Valid Visa And Shall Be On Contractor#S Payroll. 16.# Entry Permits For The Vehicle S Hould Be Applied With Copies Ofregistration, Driving License And His Passport Copy With Valid Visa. 17.# All The Persons Should Wear The Uniform, Ppe While At Work, Indicating The Organizations Logo And Company Name. 18. All Material And Tools Brought In Shall Be Declared At Power Station Security Gate And The List Of These Items Shall Be Signed By Dewa Security . The Copies Of These Documents Shall Be Lodged With Dewa Engineer In-Charge On Daily Basis. This Document Will Be The Basis For The Clearance Gate Pass To Take Them Out On Completion Of The Job. 19. Dewa Engineer-In-Charge Shall Be U Pdated The Work Progress On A Regular Basis. 20. All Applicable Equipment And Tools Should Have Valid Test Certificate From 3Rd Party Licensed Certifying Agencies. 21. Including All, The Followings Shall Be Arranged By The Contractor As Partof The Contract Work. A.#Transportation Either Staff Or Material On Site. B.#All Consumable Like Blasting Grit, Wrapping Tape Etc Required For The Work. C.#Hand And Powered Tools, Rigging Tools, Material Handling Facilitie S. D.#Contractor Need To Provide Total Electrical Load For Complete Job Prior To Start The Job. E.#Power Too Ls Test Certificate To Be Submitted Prior To Start The Job By An Approved & Certified Authority. F.#Tarpaulins, Ha Nd And Working Lamps, Temporary Supports Etc. G.#Personal Safety /Protection Equipment, First Aid Kit, For His Staff At Site. H.#In General All Items Of Tools, Accessories, Consumable, Hoses, Cables, Distribution Boa Rd Etc. Other Than Facilities Provided By Dewa Shall Be Arranged By The Contractor. B. Surface Preparation& Wrapping On Pipe: 1. The Entire Specified Ng Pipe Lines To Be Cleaned To Remove Corrosion, Loose Dusts, Salts, Pollutants A Nd Old Paint. 2.# The Surface Preparation Shall Be In Line With Relevant International Standards. 3.# On Preliminary Prepa Ration As Above, The Surface Preparation Including All Size Of Pipe Lines & Valves Shall Be Mechanically Cleaned Using Wir E Brush, Emery Paper And Small Grinding Machine For Buffing. 4.# All Sharp Corners, Contours, Weld Imperfections/Imperfect Joints Shall Be Dressed Smooth By Mechanical Means Such As Chipping, Filing, Grinding, Etc. And The Surfaces Prepared. 5 .# Degreasing The Metal Surface Using Iso Propanol. 6.# Specific Coating On The Same Area Before Wrapping. 7.# Wrapping & Coating Onbelow Ground Pipes & Elbows. 8.# Corrosion Prevention Wrapping With Warrantee Of 20Years. 9.# Viscowrap With Recommended Overlap As Per The Data Sheet. C. Application Of Paints: 1. All Mixing, Application & Curing Guidelines For The Paints As Specified I N #Product Technical Data Sheets# Must Be Strictly Adhered To All Times. 2. Painting Work Should Not Take Place If: I.# The Surface Preparation Is Incomplete Or Not According To Manufacturer#S Recommendations. Ii. The Atmospheric Tempe Rature Is Below 10°C And Above 50°C. Iii. The Relevant Humidity Exceeds 75%. Iv. The Substrate Temperature Is L Ess Than 3°C Above The Dew Point. V. The Surface Is Not Cleared By Site Engineer Of Dewa On Inspection. Vi. During Application Regular Wet & Dry Film Thickness Readings And Relative Humidity Levels Shall Be Takenand Recorded. Vii. The Topcoats On The Surface Will Be Decided By Authorities Personals. 3.
