the consignee inits original, factory-approved configuration.3.warrantythe seller shall furnish a valid warranty certificate/tag from the oem to thepurchaser, guaranteeing the products coverage under the specifiedwarranty terms. the warranty certificate should be verifiable through theoem website/customer care center.4.compliance ofextended producer sresponsibilitywith effect from 1.4.23, as per the e-waste rules 2022, epr registration ismandatory for manufacturing entities. therefore, all oems shall hold validepr registration, and the registration number should be reflected in thecatalog parameter. oems shall ensure compliance with all responsibilities asper epr registration applicable from time to time.5.mandatory / statutoryrequirements asapplicableoems shall have to ensure compliance with the mandatory/statutoryrequirements as per the government of india notifications issued from timeto time for hardware and software components, as applicable.6.operating systemit shall be the responsibility of oems to ensure that supplies are made withgenuine operating systems. special terms and conditions-version:1 effective from 06-07-2022 for category online ups v21. in addition to general terms and conditions of gem, the following special t&c shall be applicable foronline ups version 2.0 with reference to installation and commissioning.sellers responsibility: installation and commissioning shall involve all the interconnections, any cablingbetween power source, switch boards within 3 metre range for input power and connecting output power17 / 22 in the scope of seller. buyers responsibility: buyer will ensure well ventilated/covered site/room having requisite powerpoints/distribution board to provide input power to ups as well as to take out power from ups within 3metre of the location of ups placement.the above is not applicable for the stores supplied without installation and commisioning.note: the above is indicative and any incidental requirement related to above responsibilities shall alsobe considered in the responsibilities of buyer/seller as applicable.5 5 : : a a/buyer added bid specific terms and conditions1. genericoption clause: the purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered upto 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. the purchaser also reserves the right toincrease the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract atthe contracted rates. the delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of originaldelivery order turnover details for therelevant period shall be uploaded with the bid. in case the date of constitution / incorporation of thebidder is less than 3 year old, the average turnover in respect of the certification.8. service & supportavailability of service centres: bidder/oem must have a functional service centre in the state of eachconsignees location in case of carry-in warranty. not applicable in case of goods having on-sitewarranty. if service center is not already there at the time of bidding, successful bidder / oem shall haveto establish one within 30 days of award of contract. payment shall be released only after submission ofdocumentary evidence of having functional service centre.9. service & supportdedicated /toll free telephone no. for service support : bidder/oem must have dedicated/toll freetelephone no. for service support.10. service & supportescalation matrix for service support : bidder/oem must provide escalation matrix of telephone numbersfor service support.11.
