supply of fuel transformation program dftp aims to transform the defence fuel supply chain dfsc in order to deliver a safer, simpler and more assured defence fuels network dfn in partnership with industry. the fsc is one of the dftp transformation projects. the objective of the fsc is to combine dfi maintenance, operations, asset management, inventory management and fuel supply including bulk fuel supply services collectively the fsc services into a separate and dfsc-focused contract under the management of commander joint logistics cjlog as head of the dfsc hdfsc. underlining the development of the fsc is a desire to increase industry collaboration along the length of the supply chain, where appropriate to do so.
supply of petroleum, oil and lubricant pol products and associated specialty products required to support adf raise, train and sustain activities, exercises and operations. the requirement will be for the supply of over 230 pol products including packaged pol, bulk pol, and fuel drum stock for delivery to at least 10 locations. in conducting the procurement the commonwealth seeks an outcome that will provide surety of supply of the maximum number of pol products with a minimum number of contractors pursuant to a standing offer arrangement that delivers optimal value for money.
hls program links workers i.e. both working holiday makers and australian job seekers with seasonal harvest jobs to meet seasonal peaks in employer demand in locations across australia that do not have adequate local labour supply to meet this demand. supporting the hls is the nhlis, which provides comprehensive, up-to-date information about harvest work opportunities, working conditions, transport and accommodation around australia through the harvest trail website and harvest guide. the department of employment, skills, small and family business the department has prepared a consultation paper, ‘harvest labour services – reforms to encourage australian job seekers to take up seasonal work’. the consultation paper provides stakeholders with the opportunity to express their views on the future of hls and how the government can best support australian job seekers to access seasonal work opportunities and assist growers to find suitable workers. the consultation process is open to all stakeholders. responses will not advantage or disadvantage prospective tenderers in any future competitive procurement processes for hls and nhlis. any future prospective tenderers will not be evaluated based on any response to this market consultation.
suppliers to deliver inventory management and or transport services to support the efficient and effective management of the national medical stockpile. the successful tenderer and s will be required to manage, deploy and transport inventory in the national medical stockpile during business as usual periods and during emergencies. a tenderer may tender to deliver both inventory management services and transport services, or only inventory management services or transport services. this is a unique and rare opportunity for commercial entities to operate in the health emergency management field. the department is seeking to procure these services from 1 july 2020 for a period of six years with the option for the department, at its sole discretion, to extend for up to an additional four years.
contracted entities will provide assessment management services for the trial, specifically to: attract, recruit, onboard and retain suitably qualified registered nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists as assessors during the trial and provide evidence to the department that each assessor has current unrestricted ahpra registration liaise with participating aged care homes for the purpose of scheduling assessment periods and complete the agreed number of assessments using the an-acc assessment tool hosted on an associated ipad application ipad to be supplied by the department develop and operate a clinical support framework for assessors to ensure the quality of assessments, and provide feedback to the department throughout the trial as required. the department requires around 5600 assessments to be completed as part of the trial, to be distributed as follows: 4000 assessments of residents of aged care homes in modified monash model mm regions 1-2 1500 assessments of residents of aged care homes in mm regions 3-5, and 100 assessments of residents of aged care homes in mm regions 6-7. tenderers are invited to submit a tender to deliver services for part, parts, or the whole services: in multiples of 1000 assessments in mm regions 1-2 in multiples of 500 assessments in mm regions 3-5, and in multiples of 50 assessments in mm regions 6-7. tenderers must also clearly outline any limits on specific geographic areas in which they are willing to provide services. the department may, at its sole and absolute discretion, select one or more tenderers to provide services in each geographic area. the department may seek to negotiate with a preferred tenderer the geographic area or areas in which the tenderer will complete the assessments.
