intention of this rft process is to refresh standing offer panel son3529087. this refresh activity will increase the number of suitably qualified suppliers on the panel, to ensure that enough capacity and range of goods and services is available to meet csiros evolving requirements. the refreshed panel will include the following broad categories of scientific compute, data hardware and associated services: scientific compute hardware such as blade servers and chassis, and rack mounted systems, data hardware including massively scalable data storage solutions, interconnects and storage fabrics, scientific compute software, associated services such as configuration, installation, support services, provision of externally hosted hpc capability as a utility service, other related goods and services
suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of mechanical services for a transmitter and servo/bearing cooling upgrade on deep space station 43 dss43 at the canberra deep space communication complex cdscc. the existing cooling systems serving the existing transmitters on dss43 are inadequate for the planned new x and s-band transmitters on that antenna. these cooling systems will be removed when the transmitters are replaced, and the new cooling configuration will combine the new transmitter cooling system with a new servo/bearing cooling system. the new system, the subject of this rft, will utilise the latest technology adiabatic coolers, eliminating risk of legionella, simplifying plant maintenance, and ensuring adequate cooling capacity and capability for dss43 into the indefinite future.
