australia awards myanmar is forthe administration and operationalisation of the australia awards suite of modalities in myanmar to provide well-targeted study, training and networking opportunities to individuals to deliver the end of program outcomes. australia awards are an important part of australia’s bilateral relationship with myanmar. the current in-house model has limited dfat’s ability to capitalise on the potential of the australia awards and global alumni modalities. the contractor will be responsible for providing the following administration and analytical services and will: a provide analysis to underpin targeted and evidence-based decisions on the direction of australia awards; b support administration of up to 40 australia award scholarships per annum; c pilot short courses and support enabling activities in myanmar, including for english language training to potential applicants and/or scholars; d support dfat to apply evidence and build inclusive opportunities for marginalised groups to access australia awards; and e maximise the intercultural experience for scholars while studying in australia.
